Hello there, you handsome devil, you! I bet you turn a lot of heads wherever you go! Of course, you’re an owl, so turning heads isn’t really that remarkable, but still…

What a superb Owl on Super bOwl Sunday. What a difference a space makes.
Might this little sweetheart be making a prediction?
Whooooo can say?
I love owls, they are my favourite birds. There is something about their eyes that fascinate me. That’s something I like about my cat Penny, I think she has owl eyes.
She’s beautiful! Looks a lot like my Zelda. I don’t have a picture of her I can load but aren’t torties awesome?
She is gorgeous and loves to cuddle. She was a stray that a friend found and couldn’t keep, so that’s how I got cat number 4.
she has very pretty eyes!
Penny is gorgeous, Gigi! Kitties often remind me of owls!
Owl Cat. Very beautiful. Glad you have her.
Oh, she’s lovely! She reminds me of my beautiful Emily, who alas passed on last spring after nearly 20 years of running my life. She was a wonderful baby, with gorgeous eyes, too. I think it’s a tortie thing.
We never stop missing them, do we, Laura? 20 years is a good run! I have a 16-year-old kitty myself. She is doing quite well but I am thankful for each day she is still with me.
Awww, she is beautiful!!! My best baby girl kitty was a tortie with owl eyes just like your lovely here. I named her Owly Cat! BFFs for 18+ years we were 🙂 Please give Penny some ear skritchin’s from me!
…didn’t the Japanese call owls the birds with cat faces? (or was it cats with bird/owls faces…argh…. can’t. remember.)
What a beauty! I’d have trouble tearing myself away!
Oops! That was supposed to be a reply to GiGi about her beautiful cat.
Somewhere there’s a pussycat and a pea green boat waiting for this guy.
This guy has every right to be a little bit enchanted with reflection; such a handsome boidie!
Whoooo’s a pretty owl? You are! Positive affirmation, indeed.
“You have the cool, clear, eyes of a seeker of wisdom and truth. Yet there’s that upturned chin and that grin of impetuous youth. Oh I believe in you, I believe in you!”
I just now got the Superb Owl thing on Super Bowl Sunday! I lamely blame my slowness on the fact that I am not, in any way, shape, or form a sports fan but that is very clever, NTMTOM! ☺
As much as I would love to take credit for “Superb Owl,” it’s been all over the Web lately. See below for a Twitter message with an illustration of the Superb One. 🙂
A Twitter user known as @PolitiSquirrel wrote the following on Feb. 5 (before NTMTOM worked his magic on the idea).

Note: I am not PolitiSquirrel, but our squirrel interests run in the same direction.
I promise, it wasn’t invisible on my screen. OK, here’s the quote:

This time for sure!
[What’s the rule about quotes? The quote disappeared when I pasted it and when I retyped it. OK, what if I don’t include the <> marks?]
This is the quote from @PolitiSquirrel:
All these people excited about the #SuperBowl are insensitive. To my kind owls are a real threat. #SquirrelProblems
Let me try to embed that message:
Why does this little guy remind me of Uncle Fester from the Adams Family movies??? Those big round eyes, the angle of the head, that quizzical look – there is just something about him that makes me hear that theme song in my brain, lol.
