It’s a black dog on the rug. On my tablet, I had to turn up the brightness control to maximum before I could see it.
I couldn’t see that either on my phone – even at full brightness. Had to look on the laptop. 😀
That is some serious Canine Camouflage! I’ll bet someone gets accidentally kicked about 27,000 per day, with that rug and that puppers!
It’s all the glorious Florida sunshine that is making screen glare on my iPad screen, I’m afraid. It’s a price I’m prepared to pay.
Oh, I fully approve — soak up the sun, and doggie will still be there (and not there) when you get back inside.

I turned up the brightness on my iPhone to the max. So worth it. Big black Labrador totally invisible. That dog needs a yellow collar like a painted curb edge.

First I only saw the rug, then the dog on the rug. Loved it!
The dog seemed to emerge from the rug as I looked! But I needed NTMTOM’s prompting to look harder.
No glare…just an old person with bad eyesight, but I knew there was a critter on the rug…just took me forever to find the nose and eyes to know which end was up.

Yep, once I found the eyes then I could see the whole dog! S/he does need a reflective collar or…tail lights!?

I truly believe that these folks should either change the throw rug or the dog. I know which I would change first.
That’s like my black cat and my black microfiber couch. I’ve had a few close calls, but I’m surprised I’ve never squished him before.
