We’re very sorry, but the bunny is running late this morning, would you mind filling in? If we could just put these ears on you, and maybe you could hop a little? OK, that’s fine, no hopping. Yeah, I think this works.

Sweet, patient widdle birdie!
Until he gives the stink eye.
Sweet sleepie little boid! My own sweet guy spent this Mother’s Day morning sleeping in a sun beam on my shoulder – bliss!
Ooo. Nice!
Aww, that’s adorable!
Pretty color! This birdy – er, I mean, bunny – would go nicely with my bathroom.
Beyond adorable.
So peaceful. Aaahhhhhh.
Want to vote thumbs up about 50 times.
That is SO sweet — he loves the attention; I’m sure his human is telling him how handsome he is!
You can almost see the thought bubble with “*sigh* hoomins…” popping over his head.
He is so accommodating because he knows his humans can’t resist. A kind and thoughtful soul.
With the head tilt, “Are we done now?” S/he is a very cute ? sub bun.
What a sweet, pretty little bird! Had my bedroom open last night and heard an owl hooting…it was lovely and soothing!
I have a northern screech owl that must live in a tree quite near my bedroom window because I can hear her call every night. Screech owls always sound faintly like a baby crying, though – eerie and sometimes a bit melancholy.
I have a pair of barred owls nesting about 50 feet from my house. This is the lighter of the pair, the other owl is very dark. They don’t cooperate with the photographer, only showing up at dusk when the lighting is dubious at best!
Love the side-eye at the end, can almost hear bird’s thoughts “really? This is the hill you want to die on?!”
Okay, I just looked at the original site and a commenter there used a term I am going to have to remember:
bird = “chirp floof”
😀
?
He doesn’t look impressed, does he?
