    Hence the bucket of ear plugs by the bed.

      The music fest I went to last week had a band contest which was really a load of major silliness, lots of fun. It was de rigeur to bribe the judges by offering them jars of moonshine and food and gifts. One band had a unique twist – every member was playing an instrument other than the one they normally played. And along with other bribes was a jar full of earplugs.
