What an adorable pile of furbabies! So glad that little kitty found such a wonderful home with so many brothers to look after her. Her hoomin is awesome! And why didn’t I find that cat-carrying hoodie while my soul-kitty Stashy was still with me? She would have loved that!!

Dad and daughter squirrel tooth pull is amazing! That little girl knows she is loved and so trusts her father; how wonderful to see. 🙂

I dunno, she sounded pretty worried that she was about to be SWARMED by teeth eating squirrels.

A part of me was wondering who would be more appalled, PETA or Family Services?

However, the squirrel got a big chunk of granola and she’s got a date with the tooth fairy so alls well that ends well.

I had the same reaction – when I sent it in to Mike I even said I was a bit unsure about it but thought he might find it amusing (as did I, but sort of appalling at the same time) and really didn’t think he would post it. Yep, PETA AND Family Services could have a field day with that one. I’m a “mandated reporter” and am supposed to let authorities know if I see something akin to child endangerment or abuse – mostly at the Y where I teach – maybe I should mention this?????

        Again!

Oh, good! I was just telling my husband this morning about how they’d recaptured one, so I’m glad they’re both back home now! Silly hamster dogs!

Thanks! I was wondering about that yesterday!

I love the photo accompanying the article– it is a like an unflattering, poorly exposed mug shot. If one of them escapes again, hopefully they will add a really dramatic ‘Most Wanted’ lettering border. 😀

Thanks for keeping us updated on the escapees, Fkawaldenpond! So glad the capys are home together! Imagine the stories they will tell to future offspring!

At this point I was beginning to think that they were wearing bee costumes and hiding among the flowers

        hehe 🙂

Think of the size of those flowers!

The paper Art is amazing and I love the cat rescue story. The squirrel dentist made me laugh as much as when I first saw it. But I’m not so sure about the cat hoodie, the cat looked like he was more tolerating it rather then enjoying it.

Am I restricted to just cats with that hoodie? I can think of a lot of other animals to use it for…

I knew I’d seen the ferret story before (http://cuteoverload.com/2015/10/16/ferret-friday-bonus/), but it’s just as cute the second time around.

Now I want a bunch of ferrets to cuddle with!

Love the squirrel dentist! Great way to get some fun out of an ordinary event.

Definitely go the the paper artist’s web site, very worthwhile. Wish I could afford one. My mind boggles at the time and skill involved! And the ferrets and kitty are too cute! I would love to see video of them playing!

Hey, NTMTOM! Any chance there are wombats for Wednesday? I’m in withdrawl, here!

    • Smartypants June 29, 2016 / 9:49 am

I’m hoping for wombats too, but I think wombat content is in short supply – should we broaden the category to allow other “W” animals? Whale, walrus, wolf, woodpecker…?
