Hey, that’s cute! My parrot doesn’t do that one – BUT he does make squeaky-toy noises when he’s playing with toys that have long ago lost their squeakers. If I tried to go in for a belly tweak like that, Merlin would say “No, no, no.”

I saw the spelling you used and thought it was a parody of some kind – not that I know the song. I am familiar with Amy W. and think she’s a fantastic singer (I don’t say that lightly nor about too many singers) and her passing is a tragedy.

We are very attuned here to looking for puns and other silliness. I wasn’t sure if her name was “wine…” or “whine…” until I looked at the actual video of her. I don’t even speak another language except at high school level, so PLEASE don’t feel the least bit embarrassed!
Right! Like Murray said, we don’t pick on misspellings here from people who are communicating so well in a 2nd language. Heck, many of us have trouble communicating in our first language, never mind a second! 😀 So don’t feel embarrassed. I did get to talk to him for a few minutes before I left. He asked if I was a Harry Potter person, because the new book comes out this weekend and they’re doing a midnight release party. I didn’t order the book but maybe I’ll stop by and see what they’re doing that night. From what I see on Facebook, some of the stores are going all out with decorations. Some very creative people working for the company.
He’s gotta love the whole package, so best not try to hide what sounds to me like one of your best features!
