There is no more deliberate decision in a cat’s life than selecting the perfect box. It is an exacting task, because much like the wands in the world of Harry Potter, the cat does not choose the box — the box chooses the cat. And sometimes, the box rejects the cat.
Poor kitty. She just wants to snuggle down in a box and they are not being cooperative. Mean boxies.
Also, if that was Maru, he would have made himself fit. He is the box master.
Jendeyan, at the risk of disagreeing with you, wouldn’t it be more correct to say that Maru would have made the BOX fit?
LOL!!
LOL. I do believe you are right.
Yes, Maru would have just blorped it into submission 😀
This kitteh says “Hmph – clearly there’s a design flaw.”
26/12 Boxing Day : The day the box fights back !
(Canadians will get the reference )
I got it. It’s an early manifestation of the phenomenon, it’s still July.
Boxing Day in July! Of course. It’s a natural.
I’ve heard of Christmas in July but not Boxing Day in July. *chuckle* (Not Canadian but watches enough Brit TV to understand)
My bun Theo got thrown out of a box recently, but he was attacking it at the time, so the box acted purely in self-defense!?
This kitty looks like our first kitty, George, who we called Kitty, who adopted us one year when I was home on break from college. He must have done his homework, because he totally picked the right house with my mother.
Just to clear, that’s a perfectly serviceable bed behind him that doesn’t look like it would attack, right?
Obviously a beginner. Way too nice on the boxes.
