It’s such a nice day, so reader Faye is taking us all out for ice cream cones. I hope you’re not in a hurry, though, because this ice cream vendor likes to take his time and play with your food.

For all of that nonsense, that better be some damn good ice cream. Otherwise that ice cream vendor is going to end up with a broken nose.
lol…I’m not sure I’d want to eat the cones after his hands are all over them. I’m a bit of a germaphobe when it comes to food.
Very cool to watch, though.
Yea, bare hands is bad enough, but ones that have been stuffed down my pants and rubbed against my face. No thanks! And I get that it’s my own face and my own funk, but blech!
Fun video, but I’ll pass on the ice-cream :p
I think the vendor put the cone in his pocket, not his pants.
But that’s nobody’s business but the Turks. 😉
Even old New York was once New Amsterdam…
Can I post a video link? Not to be missed (and cute to boot!)
😀
I was thinking along the similar lines EAG46– that is like my pusher messing with me before I get my hit.
I actually had ice cream that was so lousy last weekend that I didn’t finish it– I know!! Right??! I was at a place that previous seasons had great ice cream but this year when you purchased a small serving the girl immediately told me that a small was TWO scoops. I should have realized then and immediately turned foot. They knew it was so lousy they were practically giving it away. Chocolate mint, which was green but no mint. How does this happen?!
Oh dear…I didn’t know there was such a thing as bad ice cream! Hopefully they’ll switch back to their old vendor.
Yay! Mike I’m thrilled. Such a wonderful interaction during tough times for so many of us. Reminds me that small moments of fun count big in the world. This video made me smile from ear to ear.
LOL, I thought that ice cream was surely headed for the ground about six times!
Good point Faye 🙂 sorry for being a grump, wet blanket– but man, don’t mess with me getting my ice cream… 😉
That’s ok. Lol at least this guys icecream wasn’t fake mint green.
The best mint chocolate chip (from the grocery store, at least) is Turkey Hill All Natural. It is not green. (Used to be Breyer’s but they changed the chips.)
Vanilla fudge, too.
I’m currently sitting with strawberry smoothie in hand enjoying the sunset in Moab, Utah, after a long day of hiking in Canyonlands National Park in the desert heat. That’s after two days of hiking in Arches National Park, also in the high desert heat.
Much ice cream has been consumed! ?
I ate a pint (yes a pint) of Ben & Jerry chocolate fudge brownie frozen yogurt. It’s good to be an adult. ???
Sanitation aside, there’s something wonderful about seeing someone truly enjoy their work. Reminds me of the janitor at my elementary school who would draw amazing cartoons on the blackboards at night so that we had a surprise in the morning. Creative people can turn any job into a form of self expression!
Nice story!
Blue Bunny,B-L-U-E B-U-N-N-Y
(I really like Blue Bunny)
Oh, their caramel turtle ice cream on a stick is fab!
I only mint to be funny.
I love my new persona. The other one was a potato… this one is a hyper boysenberry. Yay me! I love the antennae.
Hyper Boysenberry. Great name for a boysenberry flavored ice cream.
objection, this Totally Is Cute. Great customer, great vendor.
