The Loyal Order of Disapproving Otters would like to express its strong objections certain people who have characterized the group as grumpy-looking. “This sort of stereotypical portrayal has to stop!” squeaked spokesotter Scowly McGrumpypants.

NOMTOM, there goes another keyboard! This is the best.
A bigwig on a certain someone’s team actually tweeted about a “basket of deportables”–best Freudian slip ever!
I love it! My two favorite invented words are both from Sarah Palin – even though they were unintended, I think they’re genuinely great: “squirmish” (squeamish + skirmish) and “refudiate” (refute + repudiate).
I love words like that. My aunt had a neighbor who said “vice reverse” instead of vice versa and it has become firmly ensconced in our family lexicon, so much so that we say it in public with nary a blink of an eye.
Can we elect one of these guys? They can’t possibly do a worse job than some people..
This is the most adorable basket of “Yargle bargle rhubarb rhubarb grumpity grump!”
Those little heads look sooo soft and skritch-worthy .
Yummmmmm rhubarb pie. Mmmmmmmmmm
I’ll take a slice with a side of grump from this basket.
(Rhubarb and peas, rhubarb and peas..). “And a chorus of ‘yums’ goes ’round the board.” (Flanders and Swann quote)
Harrumph!!
Amazing how otters can look so grumpy but be so playful.
Maybe they’re grumpy cos they’re being kept from playing in the water? (I love “grumpity grump” btw?)
They look like they are trying on Fierce.
They are not winning.
?
😀
haha!
?
Love those little grumpy faces.
Four little Teddy Roosevelts – “bully for us!” 😀
Mount Squirmore.
Ha!
Oh, I don’t know. The two on the right might be a bit disapproving, but the two on the left seem more disappointed, or perhaps a bit Bemildred.
“Bemildred”! Love it!
Classical reference. Free Ricky-kiss to anyone who knows the source.
Inquiring minds are longing to know!
We’re waiting! (taps foot impatiently)
I wish I looked that cute when I am in a grumpy mood!
Where do I get my own Basket of Disapproving? I’m taking this with me to every strategic planning meeting. We’re not making progress anyway…. at least we’d have fun.
Oh. My. Word. These faces! Do otters like to be snorggled or huffed?
I don’t know but I reallyreallyreally want to snorglehuff a baby otter.
Oh, me too!
