Oooh, eaten then disgorged by said tennis ball.
At first I thought the “tennis ball” was empty and then : Voilà! Miss Hana came out, just like a magic trick!
I think they’re actually some kind of portal.
Loved when Maru went in, leaving nothing behind but his tail.
It was like watching a birth, in reverse!
Always purrfect for Caturday :3
Another new video too :O
What is that machine?
Just to simulate this experience I assume:
“Some restaurants offer nagashi-sōmen (流しそうめん flowing noodles) in the summer. The noodles are placed in a long flume of bamboo[2] across the length of the restaurant. The flume carries clear, ice-cold water. As the sōmen pass by, diners pluck them out with their chopsticks[2] and dip them in tsuyu. Catching the noodles requires a fair amount of dexterity, but the noodles that are not caught by the time they get to the end usually are not eaten, so diners are pressured to catch as much as they can. A few luxury establishments put their sōmen in real streams so that diners can enjoy their meal in a beautiful garden setting. Machines have been designed to simulate this experience at home.”
That sounds like way too much pressure for dinner…
I’m like Maru I turn my back on that whole setup, it’s just to weird for me.
The tail of disapproval!
My first thought was ‘where are the tiny rubber duckies?’ It’s like a midway booth, where you pick a duck and win a prize.
Yes! That’s what is wrong. No wonder cates were so disdainful.
What a great idea – little rubber duckies – and they count how many you’ve retrieved and that entitles you to certain dishes – sort of the reverse of Dim Sum.
Ooooh Hana bringing the bunny feet kicks!
That was my favorite part.
From my Mom’s side of the gene pool, I have the urge (obsession) to root for the underdog (cat). So after Maru took over and Hana was standing on the outside looking in, the only thought in my wee little brain was “jump on him Hana, just jump.” And lo and behold, she did.
I know it’s not good to think this way, in terms of animal health and population, but part of me keeps hoping that Hana and Maru are not fixed. The kittens they could have…
