Well, the first two jumps were pretty impressive. Nice synchronization. I give ’em a 7.5.
8.5. I think it’s impressive they both nailed the correct spot at the same time! They just gotta work out that untangling part–the looks on thier faces!?
I’m fascinated by their understanding of physics, and, as always, cats’ dazzling athletic abilities. They understand that in order to get to the top of one wall, they can gain the required momentum by bouncing off another wall. Of course they can actually do that. They keep in shape for these athletic feats by sleeping 16 hours a day and lounging for most of the rest of the day. They do have to work on the synchronized landings however.
I’ve always loved watching my cats work things out to achieve a jump. You can practically see the little wheels turning inside their heads.
Here’s my mom’s little monster…you can see the sewing machine that he jumped from on the right (though he can get there from the floor, too). I watched his little butt wiggling as he got ready to jump. I thought about yelling at him but I figured it wouldn’t stop him. This was about midnight last night… ?
And nothing ended up on the floor except one small item that he decided needed to be there.
He’s looking at you like he’s thinking “what is your problem human?” LOL!
Before I picked up the phone he was looking toward the front wall…I think he was looking at himself in my mom’s dresser mirror. It was only when I moved that he turned his head.
I guess I interrupted his self-admiration session.
Before that he was “scratching” at the window. I don’t know if he saw an animal out there or just wanted to go outside (earlier he was yelling at the front door and trying to grab the doorknob…I asked him where he thought he was going but he did not answer me).
Thank you Allein! I almost spewed my coffee with your last line. Your mom’s cat is too funny, yelling at the front door. Hope you survive the cat sitting.
I’d be more concerned about him surviving the cat sitting.
It’s like Flying Wallendas meets Keystone Cops and I can’t stop watching it.
Hey! Get off my back bro! There is such a thing as too close for comfort!
Two. Two. Two cats in one (spot).
At first, I couldn’t figure out how to get the video to play, so I thought it was a still image. My imagination kicked in and I thought the cats were using that equipment as a spring board!
