I’m sorry, but we’re booked solid today and we’re not seeing walk-ins… or fly-ins, or hop-ins, or crawl-ins, or swim-ins, or waddle-ins, or slither-ins…

Kitty is so cute and SO FLUFFY!!! I would definitely frequent any vet, dr, office, etc. that had him as a receptionist. I swear this cat is a twin to my friend’s cat I’ve taken care of in the past. Here is Mr. Paddywack in all his glory. I think both cats are either full Maine Coon or Coon mixed with something else.
Oh yes, there’s some coon in there. Beautiful cat!
Is that a little cage beside the farther chair? So an animal needing special care or monitoring can be close yet safe? That would be SUCH a distraction for me.
Hey! As a Slytherin, I resemble that remark!
As a Harry Potter fan, I’m embarrassed to admit how long it took me to get the Slytherin/slither-in play on words. (Ditto with Kreacher.)
Kreacher took me a long time too. Ah well.
Seriously? I’ve read the HP books *repeatedly* over the years and I only NOW THIS SECOND got Kreacher=creature!!?
I. Am. An. Idiot.
Sheesh.
Ah, but you’re an idiot who has made me feel much better. 😉
I must be more tired than I thought I missed both ?
I’m a proud Slytherin too Debg. 😀 (I know that was not your point but us Slytherin’s have to stick together.)
That is one earnest-looking kitteh at reception!!!!! My vet has a receptionist parrot named Trouble. A cute African Grey parrot who is chatty and friendly. I always hope that my parrot and Trouble will have a parrot conversation whenever I show up for appointments, but alas: my parrot always decides to sound like a cat when we go to the vet, so he sits in his carrier meowing, and Trouble looks at him as if he’s defective.
I think I’m in love with Merlin, Birdcage ?
Your parrot is bilingual, Birdcage.
And maybe he decided to talk cat so he can avoid unwanted conversations with other feathered patients. Or maybe he does it to annoy you.
Huh. That’s genius, actually. Next time some chatty patty comes up to me Imma meow at them and then maybe they’ll go away!
Maybe Merlin is trying to confuse the vet by meowing : There”s no parrot here only a cat …
Does that make him a ‘carrot’?
Haha. I see what u did there.
Merlin is hysterical!
Reminds me of my youth. My hat wasn’t as funny though.
its kind of off topic, but the marmies are so enjoying their nip experience I felt it was worth posting. And of course some of the Shiro gang are in it,so that too.
Are orange kitties more susceptible to the wiles of cat nip more than other cats?
No Slytherins?
Love the kitty’s eyeliner, with a small cat-eye flick at the outer corner. ?
Perfection.
I’ve been trying to get that look for years and I still can’t do it right.
