Wonderful pix of him and his cat pal – the dog’s snoot reminds me of a manatee.

He looks almost ghostly with his gray and white on a matching background.

Not sure kitty is too happy being his pillow…

“Do you? Yes.
Do you? Yes.
Good, you’re married, kiss her.”

Oh, wait, wrong movie. 😉

I actually feel a little sad when I see chimera cats. I feel bad that instead of two kitties, there is only one to love.

I can’t recall another one with two different colored eyes. Just stunning.

My grandmother’s name was Lilian. I don’t know how she would feel about sharing her name with an Internet famous cat. BUB is much more personable though.

If he had also carried the rings to the bride & groom, would he also have been called the Ring…Bear? (Sorry; so bad)

The only bear at my wedding was the one I married. Now I feel gypped. Time to plan a vow renewal ceremony with exotic wildlife, science fiction inspired cakes, and all the other details I was too young and humble to demand 🙂
Oh, that reminds me – I saw a bear this weekend! I’ve lived here (western MA) all my life, so I know we have bears, but I’ve never seen one in person. He wasn’t too close, but I got to watch for a nice long time while he moseyed the whole length of a cornfield. I’m still geeking out over it. 😀

Nice! sounds like gentle magic; I wish I was able to watch from a distance too. The only time until now I got to glimpse a wild bear was wayish up North of Sault Saint Marie on the edge of Lake Superior; my sister, her partner and I had spent a late summer day walking in to a river that ran off the hills there, clean and clear as you can imagine, swimming mostly splashing as it was coollddd. All the while we kept an eye out for bears as we truly did not want to encounter any while on foot. So, the day ends, we hike out get into the car and pull out onto the highway. Just then, the ahem, ‘Bickersons’ (my sister and her wife) start a bickering and I am all like…’Greattt, an hour drive until we reach their home with this’ when! suddenly! I see a baby bear feasting on blueberries on the side of the road! I holler “A BEAR!!!!!’ and all went wonderfully silent as we stopped and watched and listened as the little galoot snuffled through the shrubs, quite certain Mom was watching close by. That turned the mood around for the trip home. 😀 Quiet magic.

The power of nature, whether animals or vistas, to calm, relax and rejuvenate is awesome. People need to spend more time out in nature.????????

Of course, I love the bunny and giraffe story! I, too, can’t believe a domestic rabbit survived for any amount of time in that kind of wild!
I’m a little worried about the bear, though. The article doesn’t mention where the bear lives–zoo, private owner, etc.–and how he is cared for. Too many animals kept for mingling with the public have substandard care and quarters.
I have never seen a Shar Pei that lovely color! The pictures are awesome. The dog looks so “zen”!
I saw Li’l Bub in a Target spot the other night. Nice way to kick off the festive season.
I’ve seen that one a few times. Love the little glimpse of Bub.
Oh yes, I saw that! Love her.
At first glance, I thought the pencil sculpture was a beautiful sea creature or plant!
Good to see sweet Bub again!
I had the same thought about the sculptures!
And now I want to get married just so I can have a bear officiate.
I also thought sculpture was an exotic sea plant! Great minds…?
The sculptures remind me of Millefiori glass – only with spikes!
That sharpei has sheep slippers! 🙂

Ok, not really, but still fun to imagine.

Shar Pei muzzle mushie and bulgie nose makes me want to dive in with kisses and face plants in neck folds.
