A Muchness of Maru

Today, Maru’s human treats us to a rich variety of relaxing scenes from the life of our favorite quirky cat — a Maru-copia, if you will (or even if you won’t).

I love these cats so much. Is it wrong that I’m already dreading the day when Maru will no longer be around to make us all laugh?

In other news, my Scorpius kitty is getting braver even when I’m home! He’s been here for a month now, and has occasionally come into the bedroom at night and played with toys. I’ve stashed an Accio Kitten Wand next to my bed so that, if he comes in again, I can interact with him. Still doesn’t allow me to touch him. No touchie the kitty! But for a feral, I think he’s doing quite well.

That is so heartwarming to hear! I had a rescue cat that wasn’t exactly feral but had probably been on the run for quite some time. Although she showed all the signs of wanting attention and affection she couldn’t bring herself to allow it. I would say it took her a full year to become the warm loving and affectionate little girl that she became and spent almost 18 years being! I miss her so.
AND yes! There are soon many of us who think that the world will be changed forever when Maru and Hannah become angels.

Is it bad that I have cat envy about Maru? I adore my kitties, but they don’t have the crazy personality of that round boy.

Also, I really want to rub my face in his belly.

Yes. There is much muchness of Maru.
I love how the tail is more active than the cat it is attached to. I think the tail is not a tail but a symbiont from another planet who is here to observe out true masters, the cats.

Maru’s tale a symbiont from another planet ????

That sushi plate was really MADE for Maru. Seriously, it couldn’t be more perfectly sized for him. He is such a handsome boy! And Hana is such a pretty girl. Although she’s not quite as up there in the quirky sweepstakes as her kitty brother is.

I try not to think about when we’ll no longer have Maru and Hana with us. But they’ll ALWAYS be with us, won’t they? Because Mugumogu has shared so much video footage of them over the years that there’s no way we’ll ever run out of Maru videos to watch. Which is just fine by me!

I wonder if Maru’s tail stops moving when he sleeps??

Not likely. That thing has a mind of its own!

I love when he peeks over the rim of the dish. And I think that’s the largest container he’s gotten himself into – he actually fits!
