Guy and His Beloved Dog Look Alike, So They Dress in Adorable Matching Outfits
My Modern Met, via Faye
And finally: A Year in the Life
This video is longer than what we normally watch here, so set aside some time for the story of Gatsby, a corgi living his first year of puppyhood.
I saw that book at the Books-A-Million last Friday. Unfortunately, I couldn’t pick it up but it looks awesome. Really, how could it not be? It’s kitties pouncing.
I, also, saw this book at a local bookstore. It’s called “Nice Nosing You” and has lots of doggeh pics. I just LOVE that name.
That book looks so wonderful – and the reason for its coming into being is lovely.
Well, a lot of the QTE going on here – I must say, that corgi pup has my heart. I’ve only watched about 15 minutes of it but, wow, it’s a gem of a video. I so love when the pup walks around with his bed on top of him – looks kind of turtle-like. And the guy is so adorable and such a good puppy dad.
Mike, I so needed these hilarious and touching linkies today–many, many thanks! The cat-laughs are wonderful.
The cat Snapchats are fabulous – the piecrust with the single pawprint in it…!
Yeah, I’ve been there but with a stick of butter coming to room temp on the counter.
Hehe, yes, my neighbor’s cat would always garnish their butter with a few lick marks…
I started following the Guy who dresses like his Dog. I would love to be able to wear matching outfits with my dogs!
I’m going to sound like a nuffer, I realize. The corgi video may be wonderful; I only watched a few minutes, merely because it was so long (is there a TL;DW like there’s a TL;DR?). But it got off to a bad start for me when I saw Gatsby the corgi in a crate at the airport. Wondering if there was an explanation (okay, not wondering — hoping, hoping he was a rescue coming from somewhere he’d have been euthenized), I looked at the Youtube page and he was bought from a breeder. So. There were no dogs to rescue? There were no corgis to rescue? This tiny puppy had to endure who-knows-how-long crated in the cargo compartment of an airliner, an environment where dogs routinely die? Now, lest I be too extreme, he emerges from the crate seeming alert and happy. It came out okay. But combining breeders and shipping dogs on airplanes turned me off immediately.
That said, he’s an adorable dog and based on what I saw of the video (and the mere fact that the video was made) he’s obviously loved and doted on. I don’t mean to be too negative. I mean to be just negative enough.
