Time for shout-outs, to Erin for her tip, and to Holly for starting a new monthly recurring tip. Thank you both. I’m especially grateful to the monthly contributors (you know who you are) because their support allows me to focus on making this blog fun. And without further ado, here’s a happy dreaming kitten, sent in by Murray C.

I am so jealous of this kitty right now.
Me too, Allein. Me too.
Fortunately, I’m only 3 hours away from crawling into bed with my kitties for a nap.
I have two hours and five minutes before I can leave work.
37 minutes until work departure. BUT I have an evening dentist appointment for a teeth cleaning with Olga, Queen of the Dental Scaler. So I’m not sure I feel like celebrating the 37 minutes part.
EEK. Be sure to eat some Cheetos before you go in. My favorite hygienist said that was the worst to clean off.
I had to go to the dentist on Saturday. Then I went to the bookstore and got hot chocolate and a rice krispy treat. I’m sure Dr. George would have approved.
Oh dear! That reminds me, I need to book a checkup for the new year. Eye doctor too.
I did eye doctor earlier today. Been walking around this afternoon with dilated pupils – bumping into things, unable to read the legal documents that people pay me to read … but I’m determined to get these medical expenses into my insurance company before year end.
This cutie is compelling me to jump
immediately into bed and pull up the
comforter. Looks so comfy-cozy.
Phred, you’re going to get some company–as you can see, Allein and I are counting down the minutes until we’re done with work!
I love how kitty is sleep-nursing.
C’mon over, guys, the more the warmier
Meelks?
Hehe, that was my first word watching the video – “Meelks!” 😀 Precious baby.
I just had a thought. New Year’s Eve, we should get together for a Cutetropolis sleep over. Anyone with pets, bring them.
Sounds cozy. How, exactly, would this be accomplished? ? What would we do?
Virtual S’mores (or mimosas)? Share our resolutions & wishes?
Okay, I’m in! ???
I would totally be down for a virtual sleepover. 🙂 We’re staying home this year after spending the last 2 New Year’s Eves at the Space Needle in Seattle. Had a scary few minutes trying to leave last year when people in the massive crowd started pushing. I don’t do well in crowds anyway so that cured my desire to ever do that again. *shudder*
I’m in! I’ll be nerding out at home with the Twilight Zone marathon on SyFy.
I’m in, as are my 7 feisty felines!
Count me in. Just explain the parameters of different time zones and I’ll be there with Millie.
I live in the same time zone as you, Faye. Just sayin’.

Do my 2-year-old godson and his 4-year-old sister count as pets? (I usually spend New Year’s Eve with my best friend and her family.) I doubt I could get Stars out of the house.
Count me in as well, although I have no pet at the moment,
except for MyMike. Does he count? We are Eastern Standard,
to get the jump on everyone else.
