Time again for a shout-out, this time to Janice for a generous tip. Thank you!
Now, all you cat people are about to hit the jackpot, thanks to this video sent in by Daniel C. I’ll let him set it up: “In a throwback for the ages, Cole and Marmalade’s human Chris pays a visit to a CO favorite, the Cat House on the Kings, giving us a behind the scenes look at what it takes to herd 700+ cats.”
That was awesome! What an enterprise! I really wish people would spay and neuter their cats (and dogs), and kudos to the vet providing dicounted services! It’s cool how they have specialized areas for the elderly, nervous and mostly-feral cats, and of course–Kittehs!?
Wasn’t that great? I knew CHOTK was a big operation, but I had no idea HOW big (one indicator – if you feed your cats out of cafeteria pans, you have a lot of cats!). Bravo to them.
Ha!
“You can’t fix stupid but you can fix stupid’s pets.”
😀
100,000 a month. Amazing.
If I visited I’d never leave.
I would love to visit there one day.
Cole & Marm just posted another great vid too – how to protect your Christmas tree from cats (good luck with that!). My fave is when he attaches a mini tree to the ceiling fan (one commenter said ‘wait ’til Marm discovers the light switch’ – so now I have a mental picture of ornaments flying everywhere…).
And here it is!
lol…”Meowy Catmess” 🙂
Our cats are surprisingly indifferent to the tree. They like to lay under it but they don’t mess with it too much (Stripes sometimes bats at the lower ornaments, so we make sure to put unbreakable things at the bottom, but other than that we don’t need to worry about it).
Thank you Gigi!
