And just in time, look who’s here for a visit: Santa Bunny, sent in by reader Brandi M., who adds “Santa Bun is getting ready to deliver carrots and lettuce to all the baby bunnies around the world. The cute little wine bottle Santa suit was the perfect size for my two-week-old Holland Lop bun. Santa Bun says he will be sure to give Ani extra treats.”

My phone autocorrected lettuce to letters! Oops! I can’t believe I didn’t catch that until I saw it posted up here.
Oh, I just assumed that Santa Bun was a subcontractor for the postal service. 🙂
OK, I just updated the post with “lettuce” instead of “letters.”
Thanks!
Such disapproval at only two weeks!
Merry Christmas everyone!
Bunnies start practicing their looks of disapproval when they are very young! It’s an important bunny life skill, so their moms drill it into them from the very beginning.
Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah to all.
We just finished our usual Christmas breakfast
of bagels and lox. Jesus was Jewish, dontcha know.
We’ve got springerle and lebkuchen to nosh on, too,
and Italian nougat and chocolate as well. Tomorrow,
we diet. But today – yum!
Merry Christmas one and all!!! And Happy Hannukkah too!
May Love light our way throughout our lives, so we may enjoy the miracles, big and small, that happen all around us…
Merry Christmas, Happy Hannukkah and Happy Holidays no matter what way you celebrate. And this tiny bun is sooo cute but has that disapproval down at a young age.
My brain has been mushified from the cuteness–what an adorable baby.
Happy holidays to all!
If that Santa bun comes to my house, it just may be his last stop. Such a wee leetle cutie. I think they’re born disapproving. My bun has been disapproving of all the Christmas preparations, noises and moving of things around. Just wait till the company arrives, she’s already hiding in her box.
Merry Christmas, Cutetropolitans! We’re on round two of Christmas – last night fondue with our so-called patchwork family (bf, his ex, her son, her new husband, his mother and two children, and a refugee from Tajikistan). Today Chinese with bf’s real family. Now listening to the Leningrad Cowboys Happy Together CD to honor the memory of the Russian Army Choir.
Merry Christmas, everyone! I hope your day is good and Santa was as nice to you and your four-legged family members as you could have hoped. We’re just having a quiet day, no bun-buns to disapprove, just pups to beg extra treats.
I hope you all have a wonderful day! And many more Christmas wishes to Mike and Ani for being such superlative hosts!
We had breakfast and opened gifts…got more stuff than I expected. Watching some creepy old Christmas movie while Stripes meows at nothing and Stars hides in the bedroom corner next to the heater.
Merry Christmas, Happy Hannukkah, Happy Kwanzaa and Merry Festivus to all.
I had a great Christmas réveillon last night with the family. I must say I spent most of the evening talking to my great niece (21) and her girlfriend and to my two great nephews (21 and 20) and their friend, a nice young man here from England for the holidays. These great young people give me hope for the future of this planet.
Merry Christmas, one and all.
Opened presents after Mass. Had unexpected help from Cricket, who was overly helpful in removing wrapping paper. While we admired our simple gifts to each other, he then trashed the wrapping paper into tiny shreds all over the living room. He was jumping and stamping all over it, shrieking at the top of his little feathered lungs. I thought the paper was scaring him, and tried to take it away, but he attacked my hand. I moved back, and he returned to his colourful destruction.
And you didn’t take video?! Sounds adorable 🙂
I just got home from my uncle’s house. I was sent home with most of a pumpkin pie which I will bring to work on Tuesday and which will probably be gone by lunchtime. I also pilfered a couple cookies before dinner and slipped them into my bag for myself. 😉
And I scored four whole points against my cousin’s son in the first round of the Annual Metzger Family Christmas Ping Pong Tournament, which is pretty good for me.
Sounds as though everyone’s been having pretty good Christmases – we had brunch earlier with our next door neighbors and dinner with dear friends. I made little lamb chops – we eat lamb once a year, at Christmas. I did them on a cookie sheet (jelly roll pan, really) in the oven and they were dee-lish. And I made mashed sweet potatoes with ginger – very yummy. My friend made a fennel dish and a fabulous cauliflower and grape tomato salad. All in all a very relaxed evening and lovely time.
PS That is one adorably disapproving bun! SO teensy.
What an adorable baby bun! I want to kees him/her all over da leetle ears and face! Which is probably the cause of the heavy disapproval!
Merry Christmas (late) to one and all!??
