It’s been a while since we’ve looked in on Faye’s dog Millie. “Millie is snuggling in her first blankie ever,” writes Faye. “She loves it. It’s so soft I’m jealous.”

I β₯ Millie and her blankie!
Aww – lucky Millie! And Faye, your linens are gorgeous!
It was a once in a lifetime stroke of luck to have had the chance to take her in,because, damn, look at her! Millie is one of the sweetest, most lovable dogs I have seen. Her tail is too much!
I, too, am jealous. Of Faye.
Yep. Me too.
Oh no Faye! Not again with the Millie stuff! You know I can’t take it! The sweet cute sweet cute is overwhelming! Must go lie down but gee, I don’t have one of those fleecy huggy paw printed blankies.
Me loves the floppy ears on that pup!!!
Ohhh. So sweet!
Millie really hit the jackpot when she got a home with you, Faye! (Of course, you hit the jackpot, too!)
Thank you all! And thank you Mike!
Sorry I’m late arriving at Cutetropolis today. What a nice surprise finding my girl looking cute for you all.
Millie gets more cute every day. Her personality is developing. Smart, funny, sweet, feisty, friendly with my housemates. She has learned her name and is honing her pee pad skills.
I held her as I weighed myself this morning. She weighs 6.8 lbs. She grew a lot over the past few days. She’s eating 1cup of kibble per day. No tiny teacup chihuahua stuff for Millie. My previous lovely weighed 11 pounds.
I agree with everyone. A miracle that she made it off Dead Dog Beach in PR all the way to my arms in NY @ 12 weeks old. I. Am. Grateful. Beyond words.
And yes. It’s the softest blankie you can imagine. I sneak a feel as I play the Hide The Millie Game with her on the bed.
Ps. The linens photograph sumptuously but are an ordinary old twin bedspread in real life. Nice for Millie pics but will need to be replaced after she’s fully trained if you get my drift.
She looks so happy! What a cutie.
That looks like what my husband calls a mink blanket, from his time living in Asia. Extra-soft and plush and very, very warm, right? We have several still; Melody’s bed has his special double-thick mink blanket that he got while living in Japan to help him stay warm in his unheated Japanese apartment. Millie is a very lucky girl to have a mommy who gets her such a special blankie! I’ve never seen one in a paw print design before!
I will have to check on that Laura. I’ve never felt anything like it.
She is growing so fast, but she is as sweet looking as ever!
Not gangly. I’m waiting to see if her ears come up. Though I have no problem if she keeps the floppy look. ?
If her ears are anything like my chorkie’s ears (they come from the wawa side of the family), they’ll come up and come back down and come up and down and then forward and back and flat against the skull when she’s in Super Dogger Zoom Mode!
Not that there’s anything wrong with the floppy look but I feel blessed to have a doggeh with expressive ears.
I’m love all dog ears. So all good no matter what.
Zoomie ears are for aerodynamic streamlining of the doggis for maximum velocity.
Chorkies are so special. Picture please!
Here’s a link to a short video. I don’t have too many good photos of her because I only have the camera on my phone which is decent at best.

Aww!
Double awe and raise you one!
I’d get nothing done if Millie was my dog.
Birdcage, I’m either napping with Millie or kissing her belly while she sleeps. I’m behind with artwork and reading, but happily so.
Intoxicatingly cute, lethally smart and playful.
How long did it take for Millie to wrap herself around your finger? A day or is that far too long an estimation? π
An hour. If that. Actually it was an instantaneous molecular reaction to puppy smell, puppy temperature, and puppy belly proximity. The velvety black fur and her curling into my neck clinched the deal. The white markings were a bonus. I was a goner before I even saw them.
The “I Clinched A Human” Department Supervisor already declared Millie a top ten in the We Know How To Get In Good for the under 6 pound category.
Faye!!! She is dreamy cute! As her ears look like artichoke leaves I would be tempted to twist them off, dip them in lemon butter and gnaw on them. That’s just me though…
Oh, no condiments required. The ears taste like warm figs. I kiss on them as much as she lets me.
Ohhh ‘el fresco’, even better!! π π
I think there’s a drawing in there, Faye, with all those wonderful and colorful patterns.
?
Millie is so precious. Gah. Ded.
I love her little petite paws neatly placed together in her first picture. She knows how to pose for her portraits. A perfect little lady! And a lucky one, too.
I wonder if she’s like Pablo was. He’d be doing something cute or funny and you’d pull out the camera and he’d immediately stop and sit up straight for a picture. So frustrating. π
Oh she is so cute! those eyes! So much love in those eyes. I wonder if she sees you the same way we all see her? Oh – such a cute human!
Congrats Faye!
I hope so Tara. Thank you!
