According to Geek legend, the fearsome three-headed Cerberus the Wombat guarded the entrance to Hotel California, where the dead could check out any time they like but they could never leave. Spawned by the monsters Omnibus and Psoriasis, Cerberus was finally defeated in a dance-off with the mighty Twerkules.
What this is really about, via 6rabbits: Three orphaned wombats were brought together in a shelter and refuse to leave each other. Story and many more photos at The Dodo.
Awesome Geek legend 🙂
I love Geek mythology.

My one question is, why don’t they just make them a bigger pouch?
Hmm… maybe if the pouch is too big, it loses that cozy pouch-like quality and the wombats won’t accept it. My best guess.
Maybe…I guess at some point, they have to leave the pouch, anyway.
We ALL have to leave the pouch AT SOME point. Or live in Mom’s basement appouchment.
Ouch.
Though I have been sleeping in my mom’s bed for the past two weeks…
They come home on Friday (maybe…or Saturday, they’ll let me know) so I can sleep in my own bed again. But my bed doesn’t come with a purry cat.
Just saw an ad the other day for an ice pack with cute fabric designs – called the “Ouch Pouch” which I thought was memorable & cute…
I see a case of copyright infringement looming in the near future – ‘Ouch Pouches’ are foam inserts worn inside pointe shoes!
Snerk!
Ha! I totally missed the missing r.
Even better!
I want to hug the little 3 headed mythical geek.
seems a lil flaky to me.
If that’s the guardian, I would never WANT to leave.
I know, right? Suddenly the Underworld seems like a great vacation spot!
?
LOL, NTMTOM. Twerkules!
Twerkules is the Roman spelling. Greeks called him Testiclees.
What cutie pies, I’m glad they have each others. I wonder if they will be released together?
Some other great links on that Dodo page, though a few look sad. Don’t miss this one, though! https://www.thedodo.com/dog-gently-places-her-11-puppies-into-foster-moms-lap-2213020807.html
OMG that is so sweet!
I love it – what a good foster home for that doggie family.
Psoriasis? Omnibus?
Mike, I give this one an eleven. Cutest nightmare I could ever hope to have. Looking forward to it.
Mike, there is no way I could ever have predicted that THIS is the way you’d go with my submission!? I do love the way your brain works!
Fearsomely CUTE trio, indeed!
