Time to Make the Biscuits!

“Oh boy, we’re making purple biscuits today. They’re my favorite, because they taste just like… um, purple. Welp, time to switch on my biscuit-making motor, hrrrmmmmmm…”

I’m gonna have to play this when I go to bed tonight. It just nearly put me to sleep at my desk.

GREAT idea – I wish my alarm – which has various choices of white noises programmed in – would do well to have Lily purring sounds – that would be lovely. Our cat often sleeps with me and the sound of her purring is calming but then she does her Lauren Bacall thing and that’s the end of sleep for a while.

I have a white noise app on my tablet. I downloaded a cat purring (though lately I’ve been using “rain on wooden deck” at night).

It lets you mix different sounds together. Might have to try that out.

Oh, the famous “rain on wooden deck”. Lol.

Cat purring sounds FANTASTIC!! I think I’ll look into that. I have white noise on my tablet, too. It helps when you are in a hotel room to provide a sense of familiarity and to drown out the weird noises.

WOW – I’ll have to look into that. I wonder how my cat would feel with the competition – hee, hee.

Lily’s biscuit making is top notch. Her purr is steady and hypnotic. She is a beauty too. And so well cared for to have such a plush place to get cozy.

Lily: All your plushies are belong to ME!

      Me; Yes, your Royal Highness

Walk away backwards. Then bow as you should. ?

My kitty does the same thing to my lap whenever it’s available. One of the three best sounds in the world: a cat’s purr, a baby’s laughter, and the ocean’s waves. The only existing antidote to a poisonous despot’s voice. 😀

I love the dedication on her sweet face 🙂 Making purple biscuits is a serious job!

Of course purple is your favorite, your royal highness Lily. After all, what other colors are there for such a sweet princess?

    • Jan February 1, 2017 / 6:54 pm

All of them, of course! Lily doesn’t limit herself 🙂

Lily is a sweetheart! I love hearing cats purr– orange yelly-flappy lips volume is busted on his purr box so I can feel him purr but not hear it.

    • Smartypants February 2, 2017 / 1:41 pm

Stealth mode! I’ve never met his yelly flappy highness, but I feel like I know him 😀

She’s so cute. Zelda purrs a lot, but hers is usually very soft. If I could turn her purr volume up I would, but she is of course otherwise perfect.

    And so is Lily.

Yes, that would make one weak in the knees, don’t know if I could handle it these days, maybe not ever.

      • fkaWaldenPond February 1, 2017 / 9:04 pm

I don’t think I could do it either Murray C. but it was amazing watching the whole process for all of them.

        • Murray C. February 1, 2017 / 9:09 pm

Yes, the older woman who started to climb down but went back – she got a cheer from me. The couple was very cute and it was fun to watch the guys not be all macho about it.

I’ve only watched the first 3 minutes….Gripping, Amusing, Horrifying, Funny. Can’t wait to go back to it after I finish my work!

Just what I needed. A study in finding courage. Thanks for posting.

Jan, do you kiss that spot of caramel on her left shoulder? If not, would you do it once just for me? It looks delicious.

Lily’s happiness made a crappy day a little better. Thank you both.

    • Jan February 1, 2017 / 9:24 pm

One caramel kiss coming right up! And….. done!

Always glad to be of help!

      • Faye February 2, 2017 / 7:57 am

        Mmmm.

  9. JenDeyan February 2, 2017 / 9:36 am

She has such a perfect little face. And top-notch purring. You can’t ask for more from a kitty.

  10. Claire February 2, 2017 / 5:56 pm

We call it happy paws in my family too. Sweet kitty purrs are exactly what I need today.
