And finally: Cats! What Are They Good For?

And the answer to that question comes in this video from Chase H. and Furball Fables, who show us that our feline friends service many purposes in our life, many of which revolve around inconveniencing us.

I changed my mind. I don’t want the felty green thing from yesterday. I want a human sized warmer, with kitties, for me to curl up in.

That is the cutest! Especially when they go in head-first.

That was my favorite part, too.

I was looking at those foot warmers a month or so ago, but decided against the purchase at the time. Now that I know they’re a cat trap, I might just have to get one!

@Claire – did you see them on Amazon?

        • Claire February 1, 2017 / 1:14 pm

Yep! As a perpetually cold person, I regularly browse Amazon’s wide selection of heating pad things.

        Better get two.

In the winter, when sitting on the couch watching TV, my feet are always cold. The rest of me, not so much (of course I typically have a sweatshirt and blankie), but the feets, they verge on ice blocks. (And the best TV is in the living room.) I would love one of these foot warmers.

But I thought cats WERE foot warmers?

Mine doesn’t cooperate in this way. Our relationship has not evolved to that kind of needs-based symbiosis. She needs, she gets. I need… meh.

I love Thing in her circle. I used to live with a cat that was inexorably drawn to magazines. She’d go all loaf on them.

Is that Thing? I thought that kitty looked familiar. Thing 1 and Thing 2 are so adorable in a fluffy, chubbular kinda way.

I live with a cat who LOVES crinkly shopping bags – especially blue ones, which, unfortunately, are rare. Her last one is several months old and reduced to tatters from all her digging into it, but she just sits on it and purrs. Ignores her plush cat bed – go figure!
