I took piano lessons as a kid; this chicken is a far more skilled pianist than I ever became!

I know! If a treat was dispensed each the chicken played the correct note, I might understand but this display of virtuosity has me astonished!

Well, they keys do light up, so she has an edge. Still, pretty good for a chicken – or a little kid. And she has an edgy sense of rhythm.

FYI, Animal Planet has a Where Are They Now? with past players on right now (1-2:00 Eastern time).

The puppy updates are total feel-good stories. Thanks, Animal Planet!

And in other happy news, there’s a short video on the Fiona updates of her taking her first wobbly steps!

      • Murray C. February 5, 2017 / 5:21 pm

That’s wonderful to see – she’s so wobbly but, hey, she should still be in the womb! I’m so pulling for her – as I’m sure all of us are.

Big decisions of the day: taping puppy bowl,
Watching Star Trek marathon, super bowl halftime and commercials on YouTube tomorrow, napping with Millie instead of balancing check book and paying bill.

    • Smartypants February 5, 2017 / 3:18 pm

      Gee, that’s a tough one…not!

  9. Chase February 5, 2017 / 3:18 pm

I’ve heard (no idea if it’s true) that if a chicken has a red dot on it, the others will peck it to death. This is a much better use of that red dot instinct.

I love how the orchestra waits for chickie to catch up.

  12. Blakeney February 5, 2017 / 6:26 pm

Amazing. And probably way more entertaining than Gaga will be.

  13. Smartypants February 5, 2017 / 6:37 pm

She’ll be performing with the renowned cheer team, ‘Poultry in Motion.’
