A raccoon nicknamed Rocksy hit upon a way to get this homeowner’s attention, by knocking a rock against the window. And even though the persistent mama has scratched the glass, the homeowner doesn’t seem too rattled about it. From Cheryl S.
What’s with the hugging pups this week? They stir up all kinds of dust or something around my desk…

Great links! Really like that shelter cat that finally found a forever home. And Rocksy!

As cute and clever as Rocksy is, I just wanted the lady to stop talking and go fill the cat food bowl so she can get back to her babies! (And yeah, I’d let her scratch up my door, too.)

And then underneath the kitty/rhino link there was this:
Totally worth the wait. Everything was even more fantastic than I’d imagined. I need a rhino to walk with my kitties.

That white cat is funny looking. His name should be something like Grundle or Whumpus. I want to pet him.

I agree, but I think his face is awesome. His eye shape is interesting, and his nose looks a bit flared, and the faint, faint orange on his forehead looks like furrows. I’m glad he has a human now.

I would gladly accept a Goldie hug right now.
That white kitty 🙂 it would have been love at first sight – at least on my part – had I walked in that shelter.
I love white cats, gingers, tabbies, spotted ones, grey kitties, torties, calicos, tuxies, black ones, those with short hair and those with long …… 🙂
There’s also a nice Dodo story about this Irish fellow who helped a lost swan (he says some American tourists helped – go USA! (waves teeny stars & stripes):

“…now we have a cat.”
Ded, I tell you. Ded.
Love the story, thanks Allein.
I love the raccoon video.
Arggg–LoveMeow linkies aren’t working for me, and images on The Dodo won’t load! The stories look fantastic.
