From reader Brouhaha, conclusive proof that chinchillas are nothing but fluff that can flatten into any shape. “This is my girl Kiwi, who like to squeeze into places.”

So this is the supersize version of hamcakes from the other day?
It is! She did it that same night, as if she knew I’d looked adoringly at the hampuddles in the pic and then had to prove herself even cuter. It worked.
🙂
Allein, again we have the same thought! Can Kiwi become a hamcake?
She’s beautiful, by the way. I adore chinchillas.
When we used to have breakfast for dinner when we were kids, my dad would make a bunch of normal pancakes and then make one big plate-sized pancake for himself (mostly because he liked the challenge of trying to flip it without ruining it). Chinchcake vs. hamcake made me think of that. 🙂
Thank you! She knows it too.
Kiwi was going to get under that cabinet by the hair of her chinny, chinny chin. Such a cutie and I can’t believe she was able to pancake herself that much.
I kept waiting ’til the little schnozzola reappeared – then the special treat of seeing her reemerge! And I love the chuckles – adorable little creatures, chinchillas. Even the name is adorable.
So THAT’s what we pulled from the dryer hose yesterday!
It would be a cinch for that chinch to win any limbo contest!
Okay. That’s just plain adorable! My mind keeps making a *POP* sound effect when she emerges. Yes, I have been watching it repeatedly.
