And finally: Smooch, Meow, Repeat
With almost every kiss from mom, this kitty squeaks out a half-awake “meh.” If that’s supposed to mean “knock it off, lady,” it isn’t working. (via Elizabeth G.)

My sweater has two pockets and no puppies. 🙁
I love Rocky Ridge Refuge! They have a really eclectic assortment of animals that all seem to think they are biologically related. Pretty sure they have an emu, in addition to the capyabaras and “mini cow”.
Yup, I wasn’t familiar with them before this story, but if you scroll down to the end of the article, there are two emus posing with the Capy. What a lovely place!
The Pomeranian in the vase cracked me up, as did the white cat in the glass bowl.
My pets are too big for pockets, although Sophie does fit in the pocket of a hoodie I own. She has been known to climb in, even though it’s a tight fit.
My favorite for cute is the pocket pup in the blue scrubs at the beginning.
My favorite for funny is the Husky in the basket at the end. Such a serious face in such a ridiculous position.
My faves are #10 (pig bathing in rubbermaid tote) and #15 (tubby cat in bread basket).
I play guitar, so I think that’s why I’m drawn to that one but the little dog in the scrub pocket is pretty doggone adorable!
Is that Maddie, the dog whose human takes all those pictures of her on things? For some reason I’m thinking I’ve seen this photo before in a Maddie collection. If it’s not her, it’s still a perfect matcch between dog and dog holder!
Yup!
Love the rescues (of animals by people / of people by animals/ between animals).
Firefighters are always a good choice. Never too many firefighters.
I prefer the animals-in-things pics that look like the animals made their own way into the things.
I agree – set-ups aren’t as funny. I’m pretty sure the dog in the guitar case is real, given how sound asleep he seems to be and that’s the one I liked best.
I think that may be Maddie (of “Maddie on Things”) – she’s very tolerant.
That is Maddie in the guitar case.
My favorite Maddie picture is Maddie on the beach:
Letter of the law ‘n’ all..
Love that pic! “Rules, schmules…”
Excellent!
If I were to try kissing my cat like that she might “gak” the first time, but second time she’d stalk off for quieter territory.
The late lamented Daisy was just the same. Unless she was in an untypically friendly mood her reaction to soppy stuff was a look of utter revulsion.
