This adorkable smile comes fresh from reader Jules I.: “Just sending some super pug cuteness your way – my favorite pal, stranger to no one, heart-breaker to all, Jerry Lewis! Have a great Monday.”

It is 76 degrees and sunny and I am headed to the park in a few minutes to hopefully finish my book. The downside of going to the park is I spend part of my lunch hour driving. Also I do not have a pug to keep me company.
I much prefer Jerry Lewis the pug to the human variety! 😀
Here here! ?
Couldn’t agree more.
Mike, when I click to vote the number stays the same, yet when I click again it tells me I’ve already voted.
I just tried it and it took a couple seconds for the number to change… but as far as I know it’s always done that.
I tested the vote buttons just now and there does seem to be a brief beat before the number increments. I never press those buttons myself (unless I’m testing them) so I don’t know if that’s less responsive than usual.
I’ve done the same thing as Murray before – clicked, thought it didn’t register, clicked again, and got told I already voted. Then when I tried another post it took a couple seconds. Then next time around I’d forget and do it again. 😉
It is still randomly forgetting my name and email, though.
Next time I waited to see if the number changed and it did, but after what seemed like a long time compared who it had been.
I believe you. Sadly, this may be another effect of the intermittently slow server times that I’m battling my hosting provider about. As always, I regret any inconveniences, not least because I’m suffering along with all of my readers. 🙁
Not a big deal if you’re expecting it, so no biggy. I do admit that having to fill in name and email each time is a bit of a pain, but I imagine that’s what you’re working on to improve. I’m sure we’ll all be Vewy, vewy patient.
This may be a by-product of a new way that I’ve configured the website to serve pages. In the new system, pages are cached so that the system doesn’t have to regenerate for a certain number of seconds. This may result in dynamic elements of the page, like the vote counter, not seeming to increment.
However, the vote itself is recorded and should become part of the total at the next updating of the cache.
Amen.
Great name. Great face. What a blessing to have him in your life, lady!
I adore pugs. This fellow’s fur looks so soft!
That face is so cute I just wanna cuddle the stuffing out of that little guy.
And Jerry Lewis was a shelter pug! Imagine! He’s living the life now!
