It’s playtime, and naturally this kitten just has to have the one toy that’s sitting up on the high shelf. Mom to the rescue!
Three cheers for moms, Amy F.

Love it!! That’s exactly the meow my cat T-Two uses to ask to cat treats ?
Talking to each other so specifically. Wonderful. I thought the Mom would just knock everything down. Nope! She analyzed the situation. So smart.
Loud little guy!
I know! Isn’t that amazing how specific the request and the response! Now I’m really starting to wonder what I’m saying back to my cat when she talks to me and I respond.
Oh, dear.
It’s a bird .. It’s a plane .. It’s a frog ..
No .. Not bird, nor plan, nor even frog .. it’s just little old me …
SUUPPPERRR Kitty Mom
I was impressed at how gracefully mom acquired the toy.
But a tiny itty bitty bit disappointed, because I half expected mom to jump from the table and knock everything off the shelf!
(And now I have to enter my info, too.)
“WAAAANT! WAAAAAAAAAAAAAANT!!”
Often my grown cat sounds like she is talking… a collection of sounds rather than one single “Meow”.. I suspect she saying unflattering things because I either am too slow in refilling her food bowl, or I’m not following orders – like “sit down and provide a lap”, or “shake that toy” or “stop working and get out those treats!!”
Aww, Mama looks like my much-missed Amber.
I am astounded by the clarity and specificity of their communication. Mom understood exactly what her baby wanted and dexterously (of course) got it to where it was required.
Yes, absolutely amazing!
