Mine too! They “reset” for multiple runs, so you get the impression they’re doing it for fun.

Reminds me of the magpie who decides to hang upside-down from drying laundry. Why? Why not!

On a semi-related note, I have heard it on good authority that the bird is, in fact…the word??

OK Australia, now you’ve done it! It wasn’t enough that you have koalas and wombats and basicly the cutest animals in the world, now you have surfing swans? Of course you know, this means war!

Those foxes are like 20 minutes from me! My brother went to that “local community college” in Lincroft, NJ.

“The condo features a spacious studio interior layout, a large deck for outdoor dining and glass sliding doors offering panoramic city views.”

Whoever wrote that has a future in real estate if s/he ever decides to retire from the police department.

Great idea Mike and great submissions from Faye! Apparently black swans just wanna have fun. I was on vacation in New Zealand in February. We stayed at a hotel/lodge which had a very swiftly flowing river flowing through the grounds. Black swans and ducks seemed to live on the property or at least spent a lot of time there getting fed by the guests. They also would step off the bank and into the river, paddle out to mid-stream and ride the current for a while and then sometimes fly back to their starting points and ride again.
