Jenkinsons’ Aquarium in Point Pleasant, NJ used to have an albino alligator.

    Still giggling at googly eyes.

They have several albino alligators at any one time at the New Orleans zoo. I don’t know if I’ve seen this exact one, but they find them regularly in the swamps down there. I suspect they keep a number of zoos supplied!

It was at least 12 years ago that I saw him. I haven’t been there in a few years (I was with my friend’s family; her daughter was a toddler and she’s almost 5 now), but I’m pretty sure he wasn’t there then. Before that it was probably 10 years since I’d been there.

Love the googly eyes, whoever thought of turning ugly broken things cute is a genius!

Also love the mean kitties, especially the little wet one in the sink, someone should be very afraid!

And how incredible looking is a bleue eye white alligator!

The albino animals were beautiful. Years ago on Animal Planet there was a special about African animals with different coloring. It was presented as folklore that the gods made those animals special to remind the other animals about the wonders of nature. Sadly I can’t find that special on the AP website.

Fabulous linkies. I loved the hoppy dogs and the vicious kittens. Googly eyes make everything better.

Must invest in some large googly eyes.

Dogs have perfected the art of synchronized hoping.

Oh, and ROFLMAOing over the pug hovertext, Mike!

Are we sure it’s a pug, and not a boxer?

      • allein ? June 5, 2017 / 11:55 am

Too small to be a boxer. Boxer brief, maybe.

I just might start carrying a bag of assorted size googly eyes and a small glue. Hmmm. Very tempting. Nice way to be cheerful.

I guess I should be quaking in fear from the kitten stinkeyes, but instead I’m quaking with laughter.

That red one all wet after a bath in the Petmart tub is my favorite, talk about Looks That Could Kill!

We’ve seen watermelon kitty before, but I have to post this again anyway.

What’s he going to do with it? Wear it on his head?
