That might be the sweetest thing I’ve ever seen.
YES!!!
I second that emotion.
I didn’t think Shakespear could be improved on but this might just do it.
A feathery take on the classic Romeow and Drooliet.
These Romews are equal opportunity lovers, apparently…. LOVE both versions.

Well, Romeo was kind fickle, anyway. Remember he was all hung up on Rosaline until he saw Juliet.
Better than the sequel they’re pushing on ABC this season.
I’ve seen a lot of adaptations and transpositions of the works of The Bard but that one looks like the worst piece of crap ever produced .
Some of the behind the scene twists and large Italian politics/warfare aren’t bad but the base story doesn’t resonate like it used to. And this production is one shade better than say, Reign. That’s not a compliment.
As a friend put it: Itβs about a rebound romance between two teens too stupid to live.
A love story that leaves six people dead in a matter of days. Not the stuff of which Mills and Boon/Harlequin romances are made!
Bring back Colley Cibber, I say!
I always thought the families were the Meowtagues and the Quackulets. I could live with version of the play.
Romeow’s friend is Mercatio, of course.
Alas, poor Corgrick! I knew him, Horseatio, a fellow of infinite joust.
Hey! That’s from Hamylet!
I hear next season they’re doing Droolius Caesar.
Droolius Caesar! Sponsored by whichever large corporations can figure out the difference between fiction and non-fiction!
To say nothing of knowing how to read a play and understand its anti-assassination, be careful what you wish for message. face-palm
Ack! There I go mixing my metamorphosis.
I thought it was the Montamews.
MontaMEWs and Quackulets
Cutetropolis has a playhouse? Where do I get crickets – I mean, tickets? I love Shakespaw’s plays.
Oh is this Shakespurr?
I thought it is a photo from Duckie’s family album. (Duckie has mentioned that Mr Duckie is a nice guy) Maybe this is an old photo of them from the time they started dating. What a handsome husband btw.
This is pretty much the only way you can make a better version of a Shakespeare play than the musical version of Hamlet (set to Barber of Seville) from that one episode of Gilligan’s Island.
