Exactly! To me, though, that’s social understanding– a fundamental knowledge of how one being’s actions (sitting/not sitting) affect the status of another being (treat/no treat). That’s pretty sophisticated for someone who spends a great deal of time sniffing his own behind!

This is adorable! I’ve found it’s waaay easier to train a puppy when there is an older dog in the house. One of my dogs used to tell me when the other dog needed to go outside.
