Aw! Love how he goes running to mommy after falling.
“Mooom! I have a boo-boo! Can you kiss it and then put 23 band-aids on it and make it better?”

Ok. I have a big goofy grin on my face.
Also, I am now curious. I understood the, “Wheeee!” and the giggling. What else did the adorable videoing couple say?

I love how mommy starts in baby trunkster’s direction as soon as he falls.
Do elephants use their ears in that way to appear bigger? Does it work if you’re already minuscule?
Okay, I’ve seen an elephant herd but never an elephant herd – if you get my drift. and, yes, the retreat to mom after the oops daisy was adorable beyond belief!

Brilliant! I could just see a human mama & kiddo behaving this way. Another example of how much we have in common with elephants

When the birds scattered around the bebeh elephant, it seemed to confuse him as to which direction to go. Thus unsure, he thought one way and then his legs went another– too funny. Then the running to mom was precious and she comforted him in elephant trunk speak.

Further proof that the young of every species can’t resist chasing birds. I’m reminded of the old Gary Larsen cartoon in which a baby alien on a strange planet chases smaller aliens of a different species.
