And finally: Fiona Goes to the Zoo
In this video clip found by Lois M., baby Fiona enjoys looking at human children as much as they enjoy looking at her.
Re: Fiona Video – I think all internet videos need to have an alternate “narrated by 2 kids” version.
Seconded.
Reminds me of Axe Cop, a comic written by a four year old and drawn by his dad.
OK, who else read “Meet Rare Sea Wolves Who Live Off the Ocean and Can Swim for Hours” and thought, “Ooh! Here’s another of NOMTOM’s brilliant creations!”?
*raises hand*
It did occur to me…
I’m pretty informed on wildlife but I have never heard of these wolves! They are all set for the results of climate change, though! I’m glad the researchers aren’t disclosing their exact location.
yep, me too
Yep!
Yes. Had to read about them on a couple of sites before I sent the post to Mike.
I suspected it wasn’t real. Thanks for checking. It does seem to be too good to be true. I would like to be a caretaker for them and help out if they need something, though it doesn’t look like they do. Swimming wolves? It’s hard to think of anything more like a child’s fantasy of nature.
I love the video of Pituco getting food from the store by himself and stopping to “water the tree” on his way home. LOL!!
He has such a jaunty step! He’s awesome and he knows it! (“Put it in my tab, won’t you, Joao? My butler will come by later to settle the bill…)
Yet again Fiona killz me ded. Love all the linkies!
I have some cute Fiona videos from my visit earlier this week too (I hope this link works):

Our Fiona really is a star! The crowd reaction when she comes running out!
The crowd reactions were so funny! It was great to be in the company of so many Fiona fans, some who are even more obsessed than us! I loved seeing so many adults wearing Fiona shirts and carrying around stuffed hippo toys.
Also, for any others hoping to visit with Fiona soon, she’s not on a set schedule yet, but if she’s going to come out, it will be toward the end of the day, like 4pm or later. This is because she isn’t going in the pool yet with Henry, and he gets to be in the pool most of the day.
OMG! The crowd reaction is HILARIOUS!
But the scampering is TOO MUCH!! I could just watch her trot/scamper in a circle around the pool all day.
Reminds me of Scootin’ Baby Trunkster!
Wow, I thought she was going to shoot right out of the water! Great video.
These are super, Claire!
Thanks for the videos Claire!
I love the graceful *push* off the floor of the tank with her back toes pointed! Looks like water ballet. Thanks so much for sharing?
