This little girl is Josephine, who is under the care of ACT Wildlife Australia. Although small for her age when she arrived, regular feedings and cuddles have increased her weight tenfold. Keep growing, Josephine!

Yay for Wombat Wednesday!
Just as we had to start letting Fiona go, we get this in. Mike, I knew you wouldn’t let us down.
I just noticed, in the paused frame before the video began, that the baby wombat has a rather squirrel-ish face profile.
Hopefully they will be filming daily updates? I vounteer to be a wombat wrangler!?
Whoa! What a wonderful way to wramble through Wednesday. Wombat stweches and yawns. Wriggly whimsy!
Josephine is adorable!!
Rounded. Everything on wombatses is rounded off. The grey and pink keels me every time.
I don’t know about that, Faye. the claws looked pretty sharp.
And BIG.
I wonder if wombats “grow into” their claws the way puppies grow into their paws? 🙂
The claws? They are so cute I forget about the claws. Lol.
Imagine having that baby in your pouch, with those claws….
I see eye capsules!
Yes, indeedy!
She resists being weighed almost as much as I do.
Round wom-butt! And her coat is so velvety!
Wiggly wombatlet! Too cute!
Sign me up for wombat duty of feeding, cuddling, weighing, cuddling, feeding, cuddling….oops, there’s an ocean or two between us– darn it.
Well, that helped my day considerably. Maybe I could put Josephine on an endless loop.
An endlessly wriggling wombat?
