The county fair starts today. It’s “tradition” that it always rains during the county fair. Checked the weather and sure enough, rain and thunderstorms predicted for Thursday night and Friday, and rain on Saturday.
I don’t know if there are any meatheads expected to be there.
Also, their pointer looks like a popsicle.

Weather or not you are watching, cat-as-trophies will be occurring in your weather zone. Be sure to have your emergency kit-tens available. Tidal fluff will increase. Be on the lookout for occasional hairball downpours and cat box overflows. Cat rescue teams will be on hand with umbrellas and to spray and neuter as needed.
