Time for another shout-out, to G. B. and S. P. who both blessed the tip jar yesterday. Thanks to you both. And now, let’s go out today with a bang — a headbang to be specific, provided by a crazy cockatiel who’s a slave to the rhythm.
Another rockin’ submish from Andrew Y.
Awww. Love the birdie having fun with their people.
And check out the paper mini-me behind them!
I also noticed this:
This is so adorable! Birdie’s got a great sense of rhythm.
Now I have Grace Jones in my head which I don’t mind– also hot off the presses relating to the link from the other day. 🙂 https://www.thestar.com/sports/baseball/2017/08/17/st-louis-cardinals-to-adopt-rally-cat-that-darted-across-outfield-during-game.html
I do think it’s nice that the Cards have stepped up after screwing up, but I wonder who is really going to take responsibility for Rally Cat’s daily needs; not just food and shelter (and litterbox), but love and playtime. I hope we find out. It would make me feel better.
Usually, when a team adopts an animal, one of the office staff, or sometimes a player’s family, becomes the formal owner and takes care of it. I’m sure that’s the case here, too.
I just hope that Rally Cat isn’t a true feral. That’s so much harder to deal with, even an for an experienced cat slave — we, human. ?
I don’t want to work. I just want to bang on the drum all day.
Thirty years ago, a roommate had a cockatiel, but it had no crest and we never tried getting it to play instruments or to dance. Lost opportunities . . .
This birdie reminds me of a famous Youtube video where a cockatoo (and its person) danced to Back Street Boys. That was an all-time fave.
I remember when Todd Rundgren’s son was a minor league player, they ALWAYS played that when he came up to bat.
When I clicked on the video I got an ad for some kind of baby skin care product with little felt hippos!!! I can’t find it on youtube, though.
Weird. I got a Cover girl ad, but then the dancing cockatoo came on.
Well, the dancing cockatoo came on, too, but ADORABLE HIPPOS!
He wants to be a woodpecker, I think.
I often feel like banging my head like that when I listen to the American news! ??
Head Banger. Not quite Metallica. Much more cute.
