Elephant Shrews Have the Most Boopable Snoots
Shout-out today goes to S. G. for her tip. Thank you very much! Now let’s wrap up the week with two of the strangest and cutest animals you’ve ever seen: Ping and Pong, a pair of elephant shrews at the Chester Zoo in UK. Thanks to Faye for finding this.

Well said.

Aaaaaaahhhhhh!
Oh, Yeah.
That yawn killed me ded (again). Now life won’t be complete unless I have elephant shrews in my private zoo, along with wombats and ring-tailed lemurs . . . and . . . and . . . all the cute animals.
Yes, that little yawn! Animal yawns are so much cuter than human yawns!
It’d be rather cool to have a tiny zoo with all of these teensy animals.
The Booping of the Shrew.
Yes!
Where is the picture??? i MUST SEE THE BOOPABLE NOSES!!
These guys make my brain stop working from the cuteness. I really want to come back with a teeny tiny moveable nosie!
The BEF is strong with these guys, too.
I like the fur pattern around the eyes. They look very hard to catch!
If we bred elephant shrews and Pygmy jerboas, would the results be extra concentrated cute? And what would they look like?
That combination is prohibited by The Cuteness Implosion Safety Agency (CISAanddesist): trying to make The Cute Safe Every Day.
eep!
Prehensile noses…no bigger than a ping-pong ball…able to move at the speed of sound…adorable yawns…
