Maru, Hana and mugumogu have been busier than usual, resulting in a flood of videos of the confinement-craving cat. Here now is more Maru than anyone could want, and there may be even more tomorrow if I can get around to it. Thanks to Gigi the cat lady, Alice Shortcake and last but not least esteemed Maruologist Andrew Y.
I’m impressed with Maru’s skill at entering a hammock. He is way better at it than the baby bears.
LOLd at the look on his face when he saw that the WATERMELON had his important tub. The Watermelon did a pretty good Maru impersonation, at that.
Yes, I love the cha-cha feet whenever he tackles the hammock (or the indoor swing). And he looks SO relaxed and cool – all he needs is an iced tea and a crossword puzzle.
Get back Margaret Dumont. Hana is one of the all-time great straight men.
That is all.
I like how the watermelon gets the complete Japanese bath experience, with small towel on its head and everything. (See number 5 here if you don’t know what that’s all about.)
Rare moment with Maru’s tail not even moving :O
Usually still moves even when he’s sleeping XD
Maru’s meows >:3 show off your proud catch!
Loved Hana coming to check on him at the end :3
Yes!
Hana: “What’ve you got, Chief?”
Maru: “I’m not sure, I think I killed it.”
Maru’s non-swishing tail was a little concerning at first. I guess it’s just that hot!
I LOVE Maru lying on his back in the hammock looking up at the birds in the tree. I wonder what he was saying about the toy he caught – he seemed pretty serious about what ever it was.
I read somewhere that this last week has been a Japanese holiday so Mugumogu has been giving her viewers a Maru marathon in honor of said holiday.
I say, more holidays! Maru playing with so many wonderful things, and then Hana racing around while he slept, made my day.
