(I’ll just never understand the humans. They can’t hunt for themselves, and when I try to show them how it’s done, they get all mad at me. I just brought them this bird I caught, and they just looked at me like I was an idiot! It’s not like the bird was going to survive anyway — there were these two guys beating the crap out of it.)
Via Reddit. (“Our black cat brings us the occasional bird as a present. Then there’s this doof. (We don’t own a badminton set.)”)
And not just any bird either, a special type you guys call a shuttlecock.
ok Mike, this is hilarious! Perfect mix of words and picture.
lol…
Best part: “We don’t own a badminton set.”
Naturally.
I love doofy cats–big heart better than big brain.
Doofy kitties are good kitties!
I was curious about the phrase “our black cat”……. is this just an observer cat?
I took it to mean they have a black cat who catches actual birdies. Just based on that, I like doof cat better. No dead birdies, please.
Yes, silly me, I didn’t read it carefully enough. Thanks, Allein.
When I was a kid we had two big blue spruce by the house that ate many, many badminton birdies. Maybe doofus here found this birdie in one of those trees. ?
My neighbors had a pine tree that ate our volleyball (which we used to play kickball; someone kicked a little too hard at the wrong angle and that was the end of that game).
Bless his heart.
