A friend will hang out with you at a party so you’re not alone.
A best friend will hang onto your tail while you puke so you don’t fall in.
I think I’ll stay in the friend zone, Sharon H.

I really want to see the aftermath of this picture. It looks kinda like cat was standing on the seat, and puppy yanked her tail and made her fall. I’m not sure what’ll happen, but I’m pretty sure I know what it’ll sound like.
I could have used this kind of help on Sunday, when I couldn’t keep anything down.
Wait, I don’t have a tail.
Oh, DEBG, that’s awful – now are we correct that it was you that had appendicitis – I’m so confused (lordy be, I feel old)
Yep, my ruptured appendix came out Monday evening. I’m so grateful for the sharp-eyed nurse-practitioner who figured out why I was still feeling awful.
It was so weird that your initials were changed to DEVG that I thought I missed something somewhere. I’m so glad you went to the ER when you did – we may be pushy but we’re well intentioned – and correct once in a while!
You all weren’t pushy. In fact, you probably saved my life.
Yeah, typing wasn’t my strong suit for that one post.
I don’t have to type my name in each time I post – interesting that it seems you do! Hmmmmm?
My goodness. I missed that whole event. I’m glad you’re feeling better.
My brains are scrambled, I thought you had a ruptured ovarian cyst.
Wait. What!? I thought it was an ovarian cyst. I’m that behind on my comment reading? Good Grief I better skip that last episode of Longmire and get caught up. DebG I’m glad to hear you are feeling better! Ruptured appendixes (Appendices?) are nothing to joke about.
…and look everybody, it’s snowing at Cutetropolis! Oh I love it. ๐
The ER diagnosed my pain as an ovarian cyst on Saturday, but by Monday I was feeling worse. A sharp nurse-practitioner thought my appendix was the more likely culprit. Had an appendectomy on Monday evening and am slowly recovering.
So much fun with abdominal pain! It could be anything!
Wow. Yay for the nurse! Sending you good thought for a quick recovery!
No, puppy, you’re supposed to chase your own tail!
O.M.G. I think we’ve all been there a time or two (or three or …..). I was laughing so hard I was crying. This post is sheer perfection and might even beat Sprinklers Sufferers. Everytime I think about this post I get the giggles.
I told you not to have that third hareng cosmopolitain!
I wonder if kitty will have a wee hair of the dog in the morning ๐
?
And puppy will probably have hair of the cat, too.
Brava, Duckie!
I’ve been missing for a week. Financial issues the last couple of months, chose insulin over internet again this month. Hopefully we will get caught up in the next few weeks. Husband is self employed, has a bunch of jobs coming up, but they’ve been delayed, and we went through the savings we had set aside for such things.
Sorry to hear of the injuries and illnesses, glad to hear everyone’s on the mend now. I haven’t broken anything new lately, lol.
Patty, sorry things have been so rough for you. Hope things turn around soon.
I hope your financial future is looking up. Glad to have you back.
Always pick insulin.
Glad that things are hopefully better with a lot of Christmas bonuses.
Hi Patty – great to see you!
Iโm sorry you are forced to make such decisions. I hope your husbandโs jobs come through.
Hang in there Patty, things are bound to get better.
Patty, I’m sorry you’ve been put in a position where you have to make these choices. But you certainly made the right one! Health first, and Cutetropolis will always welcome you back when you can make it.
The upside is โฆ lots of Teh Qte to catch up on!
Oh, Patty, similar thought to Ricky’s Mom’s – you certainly chose the right thing and we’re always glad to have you back in the fold! I hope that, for the holidays especially, things will be much brighter!
Snow???!!!! yeahhhh!
What snow? Where?
Scroll to the top of the page and watch the darker parts of the screen. You’ll see white snow falling (it takes a few seconds to really see it when the page first loads).
Move your mouse pointer around a bit and the snow will follow it. ๐
