Inner-sender are good you, Faye. Shout-out time, to S. E. and N. L. for visiting the tip jar. Thank you both!

With kitten needles sharp teeth and no fur to protect them I don’t understand how they are not completely covered in little red holes!
I was struck by that too – they must have mastered the ‘play bite’!
(I’ve also seen this captioned “Why are these chicken breasts fighting?” LOL)
😀
That’s fantastic!
Ohhh I love it, little chicken cutlets wrestling! 😀
?
I need to find a hairless kitten to pet. I need to know firsthand what they feel like.
Warm suede, I understand, though I’ve never petted one.
I want to knit them woolly jumpers.
I’ve petted a Chinese Crested dog. I assume they’re similar. But still. 😛
They need little woolly jumpers – – everybody, start your knitting needles!
How are you doing today? It must have been an emotional weekend for you.
Yeah, it was. I’m doing okay, thanks. Went to pick up some things at the bookstore since it’s the last day of employee appreciation (I have one order that didn’t come in in time; oh, well, it’ll be about 2 bucks more with my regular discount) and now we’re doing my parents’ Christmas tree and eating pizza.
This is cute but disturbing on so many levels.
I’m inclined to think they might be too young for teeth just yet, and are therefore gumming each other. Which makes them even cuter.
Three weeks till party at Mike’s.
I also suspect their skin is thicker than it appears. Yes, the outer layer may be thin, but even that is probably not the case. Either that or, as several have said, their teeth aren’t sharp enough to penetrate the skin yet, they’ve mastered the “play bite,” or their teeth haven’t come in yet. (When do kittens’ teeth come in, anyway? I’m assuming when they’re old enough to be not just nursing; teeth biting Mama are not popular in ANY species!
True story about kitten teeth: my very first “adult” kitty, Clive (meaning he was the first one I got as an adult) had a big collection of weird hobbies, including sucking on my hair and reading over my shoulder. When he started teething, he’d come around to the front of the book and start gnawing on the cover. I’ve kept most of those books ever since in his honor.
One of mine used to gnaw the spout of the watering can (maybe he liked the minerals?) I kept it too.
I’m totally going to get one of these cuties someday and name him Harry. 🙂
This is the cutest brutality I have ever seen.
Is anyone else reminded of the “Itchy and Scratchy Show” theme? “They fight and bite and bite and fight…
Yes – or with that domed forehead, Brain from ‘Pinky and the Brain.’
“…same thing we do every night, Pinky…try to take over the world!”
Originally saw this with the title “two chicken breasts fighting.” They look like two little goblins. Goblets.
It’s been a bit of an unusual week here. I noticed on Friday night that my cat had a swelling on her back. She’d been freaked out earlier in the week by a local bully (my neighbor’s cat ended up a tree) so I was keeping an eye on her in case there were any repercussions. Well, long story short, I ended up taking her to the vet yesterday morning after noticing that the swelling was also producing a most unpleasant odor. She had quite a large bite and well as some smaller ones – the area is all shaved and rather ugly looking. Poor thing. I feel very lucky that I didn’t have to wait until tomorrow to take her to the vet. She wasn’t running a fever and she was eating – vet said the timing was good, that while it was nasty it could’ve been a lot worse.
Was supposed to go to a tree-trimming party yesterday but it got postponed ’til today. I couldn’t go today because I had a preliminary rehearsal for a show I’m in in late February So I had to get all the gifts together, make the food so that hubby could take it all – and I didn’t get to go. I ask you, is this fair. Oh, well.
Allein, I’m glad you’re doing OK – nice to be trimming a tree and eating pizza!
See everyone around during the week!
Hope kitty is feeling better! Poor sweetie.
What a miserable experience for poor kitty! She’s lucky she has a loving Mom.
I’m glad you were able to get kitty to the vet so quickly instead of having to wait – such an attentive cat mom!
Have a great week!
Poor kitty, I hope she recovers fast!
I’m glad your kitty will be OK and I agree that doing all the work and not being able to go to the party is not fair ?
Glad that I”m not the only one who wants to wrap those little things up in wool or maybe some little hoodies. They’d be adorable in kittensized hoodies.
Sounds like we all had a rough week. Let’s work on making this week better.
I am trying to like these cats, but I just can’t. They look like as if they had a skin condition.
