There’ve been camping trips where I’ve had to physically shove deer away from my food. They get incredibly pushy when they know you’re not going to hurt them and you have food.
Interesting about the deer aggressiveness when it comes to food. Huh. I would not have expected that from the way deer behave hereabouts in the suburban NE. I was thinking the doe was either coming back looking for food, or else daycare, lol (“Just gonna drop these few with you, I’ll be back, really”).
Anyone who doubts that birds are the descendants of dinosaurs has only to look at a baby bird to see the resemblance!

I have the utmost respect for deers, was surrounded by a bunch of hungry deers at a park once, they ganged up on me ripped the bad of food out of my hand and tried to eat my hoody, my husband had to come rescue me LOL!!
