Settle down, students! Before we begin today’s assembly, I need to announce that due to a scheduling conflict, “McGruff’s Rockin’ Crimebustin’ Skate ‘n Stunt Supershow” will not be able to appear today, but we have been able to secure a last-minute replacement, “Percy, the Dental Hygiene Possum.”

Brushing is radical, and that’s the tooth!

    Okay, I like my dentist and all, but this would make it so much more fun to go see him.

    This reminds me of the dentist in the neighbourhood who would hand out toothbrushes, toothpaste and red dye chewable tablets on Halloween. Red dye tablets were neat but still.

    I still remember how I was taught to brush my teeth in elementary school. Every. Single. Time. For. 62 years. Geeze.
