People think owls are cool and collected, but the owls are not what they seem. When he starts feeling a little hot under the feathers, Mister Owl needs a cooling mister.
Whooo sent this in? Gigi the cat lady! (Shout-out to J. R. for hitting the tip jar, thank you!)
I have a lot of questions. How did this owl come to live inside? Why is this woman (going by the hand doing the spritzing) using a water bottle so near a computer? How long did the owl learn to associate water with the green thing? Where are all these owls coming from to even get on video? Is there suddenly an owl union?
I don’t know, but if I find out, owl be sure to get back to you! 😀
*snort!*
Yep, that all was going through my head, too, EAG46 – looks a little off plumb. Owl is very cute, however, and obviously enjoying itself.
Posts that inspire comments starting with “I have a lot of questions.” are some of the best posts. 🙂
Don’t forget my wingpits, mom!
Exactly what I was thinking! Gotta get them wingpits and,, to put it politely, the under-tail region!
“The owls are not what they seem” Think I’ll grab myself a slice of pie and a damn fine cup of coffee to enjoy this post by! (On a serious note, I saw the first four episodes of TP3 and it dragged… is the rest of the series worth watching?)
Yes. Enjoy the slow ride—it’s worth the trip.
DEBG – how is Ursula???
Much better. I supplied a longer answer in the previous post. She’s currently curled up next to me purring, and I’m trying to ignore the pus smell.
Personally I say don’t waste your time. There’s no real story; stuff just happens for 18-episodes and then it ends. Most of the season isn’t even set in Twin Peaks, and the original cast members who return are mostly only used in glorified cameos that have no connection to any storyline.
Well now what?! Two commenters whom I admire with two different recommendations! Thank you both. I loved the first series (second season was enjoyable and shocking in its own way). I may pick up season three again but it seems to have strayed so far from what made Twin Peaks quirky and lovable.
This was the image that came to mind when the owl stretched.
Several birds that I’ve had the joy of looking after have loved to be misted.
Loved the ending (oops, pun) when the little guy got his tail feathers misted, and he acted like he’d been goosed.
And EAG46? Owls don’t have unions. They have parliaments.
Duckie is well informed! 10 Internets to you for the parliament comment!
?
That is possibly the most wonderful thing I’ve ever seen! Spraying a cooling mist over an owl while it spreads is wings. I think I’ve found my vocation! Making owls happy! Oh where do I send my resume?
I’m going to assume the owl is being rehabbed or perhaps was hurt and or hand raised in a way that precludes release. Regardless it appears the wise one is in good hands. I, too, am much more worried about the laptop!
I’ve always loved owls, and this one is the cutest one ever. Lucky lady! Is there a foster program for owls needing a home?!?!?
I’d show this to my dogs and cats and say, “see?? Some creatures appreciate baths!”, but they’d probably be traumatized and wondering what the owl did wrong to get squirted so many times.
But…but…put away your pocketknife before someone cuts a talon!
Thanks for answering my questions folks. Or at least trying to. 🙂
Perhaps this owl could share the bidet with the kittehs from the other day.
That would be entertaining!
