Well, what can I say? I’m flattered, really. And it’s such a good likeness, too — every bit as good as the custom-embroidered denim jacket of me, and the oil painting of me in the foyer, and the marble statue of me in the front yard, and the full-size body pillow of me in… but I’m thinking, and please don’t take this the wrong way, but perhaps you’re taking this “Man’s Best Friend” thing a little too far?

Doggie kind of looks proud, doesn’t he?
Turns out I’m literally the only person in the building who braved the snow besides the security guards who laughed at me when I was surprised to see the cafeteria closed. I’m presently eating a packet of peanuts I found under a file cabinet.
Where are you located Booby?
DC area. It rained all yesterday and the forecast predicted a high above freezing today. Thing is, I didn’t look at the *low.* Turns out we got several inches of snow, which is paralyzing for this area. I came in anyway because I like adventure driving and making bad decisions. So now I’m eating these peanuts.
LOL. You can be certain you’ve made a bad decision if, as a result, you find yourself eating a packet of peanuts that you’ve found under a file cabinet.
Great training for Zombie Apocalypse. Be safe getting home.
DC is awful when it comes to snow. Thought that they were wusses until I moved to Atlanta. Who are super wusses.
Thought it was funny back in the day when Mayor Barry’s street was always clear of snow. But on the other hand, that man loved his snow.
Hahahahaha
Atlanta, please… one inch of snow falls and everybody’s like “RUN TO THE SUPERMARKET!!! STOCK UP ON EVERYTHING!!! WE’RE ALL GONNA DIE!!!”
Meanwhile, here in New Jersey…do I have milk? Half a jug… OK, I’m good.
Nonsense.
They panic if there’s a THREAT of snow.
We got called last night, which surprised me (they don’t like to close, although they’re more willing to do it under the current management than they used to be). So far it seems like a waste. When I first woke up there was nothing on my car, when I actually got up for good there was a dusting, but it didn’t really seem to be doing anything. Though now I can actually see the snow coming down; not too heavy yet. I’ve called the inclement weather hotline twice just to make sure. 😉
On the up side, my mom was supposed to get her staples out today and they moved it to Monday (which sucks for her but I’d rather not have my parents out there driving this afternoon).
My friend has a large tattoo of her dearly departed Minpin that takes up most of the side of her calf.
When I saw Oliver! the 1968 musical movie adaptation of Oliver Twist as an 11 year old, I fell in love with both Bullseye the Bull terrier and Jack Wild the Artful Dodger. ?
Why the down votes? Unless it’s because there’s a lot of white man skin showing. Wow! I thought I was the only one that pale. However, it’s good in one way: it matches the dog’s colour.
Yes, I am curious over down-votes.
Duckie. I noticed the guy’s pale area enhanced the realism of tattoo!
I like the dog’s eyebrow.
It’s snowing like mad here – it started out as sleet, so there’ll be a nice icy crust at the bottom as we shovel later. And I’ve got a cold, feeling crappy. Gotta shovel, tho – but not ’til it’s over which is 2am tomorrow morning! 2nd day of spring, mind you. I have a feeling my Winter Hazel Tree won’t be blooming this year – I’m glad I forced a few branches.
It’s just starting to look like maybe it might be worth closing work for the second shift. The first shift/office closing was pretty much wasted, since first shift would be leaving right now and nothing’s sticking to the ground yet. I would normally leave around 5:00. Oh well, at least I did some laundry.
