Sleeping bettong dreams of his next meal
Animals in Australia are famous for being dangerous, but some just want to kill you with cuteness. Such is the case with Brian, who is a bettong, also known as a rat-kangaroo. They do all the normal kangaroo things — like carrying joeys in pouches — but smaller and therefore cuter. Oh, and they love corn, or at least Brian does, so much so that he cuddles up to it while he sleeps.
A guy’s gotta guard his ear of corn lest somebody tries to take it away when you’re asleep!!! Looks like he’s asleep on a safe place on somebody’s lap, though.
Yes, the lap is what I noticed too – he’s got a human benefactor…
I sleep with one of those full-body pillows, too! It’s not made of corn, though. Smart. I could lounge in bed so much longer if I slept with snacks!

The cutest lil’ mini-kangaroo ever!! I would love to let one sleep on my lap, corncob and all. But alas, am sure my cat would have some forceful objections…
