“I’m… I’m actually not calm at this moment.”
I would have never guessed!
It does seem odd. I can’t believe that all racoons would affect dogs that way. A raccoon dog whisperer?
None of those dogs really look calm to me…
I’m sure I saw Bibi smile after Fiona kissed her.
Friends of Ricky will be glad to know that while still comparatively weak, and sometimes disoriented, for now he’s doing a bit better, and is more himself than he was Sunday and Monday. I was able to take him to daycare yesterday, rather than the vet, and I expect to do the same today.
If you don’t hear from me much, it will be because of my workload and my fairly desperate need to conserve energy. I’ll pop round here and check out the posts when I can, though.
Glad he’s doing a bit better. Take care of yourself!
You and Ricky be well! Hi all, I am back from Atlanta– I ended up staying two more days as I was having such a great visit. It is good to be back home though and to be able to check in here often. 🙂
I’m so happy to hear it! I kept wanting to ask but thought maybe it was bad and you didn’t want to talk about it so I didn’t want to intrude..
Good for Ricky and Ricky’s Mom.
Glad to hear. I was wondering how Ricky was doing. Hope he continues to be okay.
Yes, do take care of yourself, Ricky’s Mom and we’ll look forward to hearing from you when you can manage.
Peeps, I need LOTS of furry, feathery support sent my way. It’s going to be a difficult day: more bad news, appliances quitting one after another, supper guests that I forgot about until this morning, two deadlines, and my vacuum cleaner dirt cup opened right over my clean laundry basket.
Ricky’s Mom, I’m glad Ricky is doing a bit better. Remember to take care of yourself.
Duckie, doesn’t seem to be your day(s), more like a go back to bed day and start over again. Best of luck. As for supper, carry out or dine out, I think guests would understand.
I sympathize, Ducky, and understand. I had that day yesterday — our AC was out so the house was nearly as hot as outside, I had a transcript due that I barely managed to get done, and it made me late for a doctor appt where if you’re late more than 15 minutes, they cancel you. It’s all resolved today, including a nice cool house again, so I hope your day resolves as well!
And yes, carry-out — there are tons of places where you can buy lovely prepared food you only have to heat up, at least in the U.S.; even supermarkets have deli counters with yummy food. It’s what I’d do, anyway!
Duckie, take a deep breath, loosen your shoulders, and
screech all the four-letter words you can think of at
the ceiling. As loud as you can. Let it out. This works
for me. You have had more than your share and you
may need to repeat. Go on, do it. I want to be able
to hear you here in Pennsylvania. Hug from me.?
Wow, Duckie. Your hump day sounds more like a Monday. The vacuum over the clean laundry would have done me in – I woulda gone right back to bed. Hope things get easier today!
Laura, my sympathies on your recent troubles, and Duckie, do keep breathing, keep calm and carry on, all that malarkey. It sounds like you’ve both had absolutely ROTTEN times lately, and as I start to recover from the worst of my own exhaustion, I send you tons o’ good juju and all needed energy and good luck.
