Synchronized Tail Wagging

Not That Mike The Other Mike

When we place two dogs side by side, we are better able to observe the phenomenon known as Periodic Oscillating Observable Tail Synchronicity, or POOTS. This is the tendency of dogs who do not share a common WPM (wag per minute) rate to phase in and out of sync at random intervals.

    The times they were not in sync reminded me of double jump rope. Anyone else remember that from school?

      I think in my neighborhood it was called Double Dutch. Very hard!

    Too funny!! I loved it when they were doing synchronized circles with their tales. Almost had me on the floor with that one. And Mike’s story – classic, and the term POOTS?? Just too much.
