    The dogs are adorable, but the pointless use of the word “like” makes me want to SCREAM! This irritating habit has reached epidemic proportions over the last few years.

      Interesting to hear it’s a new thing happening in England. Like has been used that way all over by everyone in the US for a long time.

      Yes, ever since we posted some grammar peeves a few weeks ago, I’ve realized that I use ‘like’ as a filler all the time without noticing! I’ve been working to reform my evil ways 😀

          You’re just better at life than I am. I just have one chi, an old lab whos’s basically a threadbare yellow rug at this point, and some cats.

          What a mixed 6 pack. Sounds like fun. I live with 1 Chiweenie, 1 black lab mix, 1 cat. All are black and white. Hair all over all the time.
